Volunteer

OHMH was founded as an all-volunteer organization and our regional chapters are run by volunteer leadership teams. That means that we need you…and that it must be fun…

Opportunities right now:

Join our annual ‘Breaking Ground’ campaign from Oct 17th – Nov 20th and unite with 100’s of others across the U.K. and U.S. to complete the first OHMH school without leaving your computer. We’ll give you all you need to set and raise your personal or team fundraising target. Details to come soon, very soon…

Join an OHMH chapter in your city

OHMH is a family. Our family members in Kenya can only do what they do for the girls there if we help raise the funds to pay for it here. Each of our volunteer chapters set a target for the year to make the work in Kenya possible.

They throw parties, host events, do sponsored things, conduct e-mail campaigns and countless other things they haven’t thought of yet. But that you will suggest…

“I believe in helping in any way you can, and genuinely connecting with others is what’s truly important in the very end. To me, OHMH gives this world a sense of meaning.”

Serve and be Equipped to Serve in Kenya

During the months of April and December we invite volunteers to join our service trips to Mudzini Kwetu. Service trips can last from as little as one week to as much as one month.

These trips are designed to be the beginning, not the culmination, of your volunteer experience with OHMH. They will be among the most joyful days of your life, and will equip you to be a much more effective volunteer ‘back home’ upon return.

E-mail Lydia at visit@onehomemanyhopes.org application materials and to set up a tea or coffee chat with someone from a past service trip to see if this might be the right opportunity for you.
